Aces coaches, co-ordinated by Jacob "Cellular" Sakala provided a thoroughly professional 3 hour clinic which culminated in the Ermelo Toyota shoot-out.

Big-ups to Ermelo Toyota's Koos Badenhorst and his team for all the support which included each player receiving a clothing hamper, a nourishing meal, trophies and medals and a personalized "certificate of participation".

Mayor of Ermelo, Mr Joseph Bongwe extended his personal thanks to both Aces and Ermelo Toyota in a post-event function where all coaches, councillors and school headmasters received a special Ermelo Toyota 40th jacket and Aces replicas. Terrific success and Aces have vowed to continue working with the community in the future.

The Ermelo mayor, Mr Joseph Bongwe used the occasion to congratulate the 9 trialists from Ermelo whom have made the final selection for Aces trials. The nine are: Tiisetso Lebelo (20), Bafana Dlamini (21), Nkosinathi Nkosi (19), Bongani Motau (20), Romeo Magagula (20), Mfanafuthi Ntozelizwe (21), Brandon Fernades (18), Sithembiso Tshabalala (20), Jabulani Bhembe (21).

Mayor Bongwe, who will personally send the 9 off to Johannesburg, will also visit the trials together with Ermelo Toyota's management. A total of 26 players were scouted in various trials and will come to Johannesburg for a final selection process where they will train with Aces.
