That the Shongololo Express train has been taken over by Rovos Rail? The train has been re-painted recently in the Green & Silver colours of Rovos Rail and undertook its maiden voyage on the 17th Feb 2016 between Pretoria and Cape Town. From May until August 2016 the train will be withdrawn from service and totally be refurbished. |

That the M1 highway between Sandton and Jo’burg’s CBD will be partially closed from March 2016 until middle 2017? This will negatively affect traffic flow, including people traveling to Jo’burg’s train station to join our train tours. operates half-day steam train trips between Kloof
and Inchanga, normally on the last Sunday of the
month. Trains travel through the spectacular Valley
of 1 000 Hills to Inchanga, where the local Inchanga
Conservancy hosts a craft market on the station.
